Hi! I'm Jordanne.
IPA: /ˈdʒɔːdæn tʃæn/
I'm a
creative technologist & educator spreading digital
whimsy. I have two cats, Dini and
Yuanyuan.
I love to make things! I'm good with cats, kids, computers and crafts.
I've been an arts, science & technology educator for over four years. I've spent time working with children, youth and adults in various communities across Toronto.
I'm passionate about hands-on, accessible learning that combines disciplines! Especially tech with art.
I have experience teaching:
Some of the organizations I've facilitated programs for include: Little Robot Friends, HackYourFuture, The Toronto Public Library, Design Exchange, Maker Festival (2018, 2017), Make Change Conference and Lakeshore Arts.
Scratch is a wonderful block-based programming language with its own community that's great for learning. Not only do I teach Scratch, but I love using it to make my own animations and games.

I love playing on the web, creating things that I find fun and cool. This ranges from making pseudo-professional websites for my cats, bringing back early 2000's design elements or experimenting with unconventional UI.
